Almirall (BME: ALM), the Spain-based biopharma, reported a 7.9% increase in net sales for the first nine months of 2024, reaching 728 million euros ($775 million), and an EBITDA rise of 2.9% to $152 million.
Key drivers included robust growth across its dermatology portfolio, notably with biologics fueling expansion in Europe. Total European sales in this segment grew by 21.9%, underscoring the company’s expanding ambition in the region.
The launch of Almirall’s eczema treatment, Ebglyss (lebrikizumab), generated $22 million in sales across initial European markets, while Ilumetri (tildrakizumab) for psoriasis saw sales rise 24.8% year-on-year to reach $162 million.
