The European Commission (EC) has granted marketing authorization of a new indication Jemperli (dostarlimab), from UK pharma major GSK (LSE: GSK).
Jemperli, in combination with carboplatin-paclitaxel (chemotherapy), is now cleared for the treatment of adult patients with mismatch repair deficient (dMMR)/microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) primary advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer and who are candidates for systemic therapy.
Jemperli plus chemotherapy is the first and only frontline immuno-oncology treatment in the European Union for this patient population, said GSK.
