Growing Swedish CDMO appoints new chief executive

Swedish contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) NorthX Biologics has appointed Janet Hoogstraate as its new chief executive.

Dr Hoogstraate has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 1995 in research and development roles, including in “global leadership positions with full budget responsibility,” the firm said.

She succeeds Helena Strigard, who will move to a senior advisory role during a period of transition.
