EFPIA calls for health and life science strategy

The European Commission (EC) has proposed a series of targeted actions to boost biotechnology and biomanufacturing in Europe.

These proposed actions were set out in a communication issued by the EC last week.

They include leveraging research and boosting innovation, stimulating market demand, streamlining regulatory pathways, fostering public and private investments and strengthening biotech-related skills.
