Chugai Phama gets new UK chief

Chugai Pharma Europe, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical (TYO: 4519) and it majority owner Roche (ROG: SIX), has announced the hiring of Troy Robinson as managing director of its UK operations.

Mr Robinson, who joined Chugai in 2012 as a finance chain director, will lead efforts to bring novel therapies to UK patients.

Markus Harwart, acting managing director and head of commerical at Chugai Europe said: “The UK is an important part of Chugai. Troy brings strong commercial expertise that will help drive forward our efforts across Europe.
