Medical data provider Cegedim (Euronext: CGM) has announced a collaboration with French pharma major Sanofi (Euronext: SAN) to use real world evidence to improve healthcare in Europe.
Cegedim will deliver real world datasets with information going back to 1994, powered by its proprietary THIN (The Health Improvement Network) database, that covers the data of millions of patients from France, the UK, Spain, Belgium and Romania.
Datasets processed with artificial intelligence technologies will be analyzed by Cegedim and Sanofi’s data experts and medical teams. This collaboration aims to drive improvement in patient care in the Paris-based company’s numerous therapeutic areas.
