BRIEF—FUJIFILM invests in UK CDMO business

30 April 2019

FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is expanding its footprint in the UK with a new investment in a BioCampus project, worth up to £12.6 million with a subsidy from the Tess Valley Combined Authority (TVCA).

A new purpose built facility will create around 50 new jobs. It is the latest in a series of investments made by FUJIFILM Corporation to grow FDB and its Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) business.

In September 2017 FDB announced the opening of the 10,000 square foot cell culture Process Development Laboratory in the area.
