Chinese vaccines developer Changchun Changsheng has been hit with a 9.1 billion yuan ($1.32 billion) fine, following claims it falsified data related to a rabies vaccine.
The Chinese regulator said additionally that it would block 14 of the firm’s executives from working in the life sciences sector again.
Shares in the company’s biotech subsidiary have not been traded since the end of August, after it failed to disclose its financial statements on time.
