Biogen appoints new senior VP of corporate affairs

American biotech company Biogen (Nasdaq: BIIB) has appointed a new senior vice president of corporate affairs, Catherine Steele.

Ms Steele will lead the company’s corporate, product, and internal communications as well as government affairs and patient advocacy efforts.

She joins the firm from Swiss giant Novartis (NOVN: VX), where she served as the company’s global head of communications and patient affairs.
