Biotech firm Bicycle Therapeutics has appointed a new chief medical officer, Maria Koehler, a former VP in oncology at Pfizer.
At Pfizer, Dr Koehler led development strategies for Ibrance (palbociclib), which was launched in 2015.
Dr Koehler was previously at GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca, where she held clinical development roles in oncology.
The author of more than 160 peer reviewed publications and book chapters, Dr Koehler received her MD and PhD from the Silesian School of Medicine in Katowice, Poland.
