The Australian biotech industry has voiced consternation at the government’s decision to move forward with a plan to cut R&D incentives in the country.
A Government committee had previously recommended that work be undertaken to fully understand the impacts before proceeding.
AusBiotech, a group representing Australian biopharmaceutical manufacturers, says that many small and medium-sized companies in life sciences will be disadvantaged by the proposals.
