At EULAR, more data supporting AbbVie's next-gen RA therapy

At the Annual European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR), Chicago’s AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) presented new data from Phase III trials evaluating upadacitinib.

The patient-reported data relates to adult patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, and shows improvements in pain, physical function and morning joint stiffness after several months of treatment.

The data also show improvements were reported in fatigue and work instability, and in the physical component of patient’s health-related quality of life.
