US biotech giant Amgen (Nasdaq: AMGN) released mixed financial results for the fourth quarter and full year 2022 versus comparable periods in 2021, after markets closed on Monday.
For the fourth quarter, total revenues were $6.8 billion, largely unchanged from the like 2021 quarter and just ahead of the consensus estimate of $6.74 billion.
For the full year, total revenues increased 1% to $26.3 billion, resulting from a 2% increase in product sales driven by a 9% increase in volume, partially offset by 5% lower net selling price and 2% negative impact from foreign exchange.
