$350 million fundraise shows potential of novel DMD therapy

Massachusetts, USA-based Dyne Therapeutics (Nasdaq: DYN) has raised $345 million, shortly after announcing encouraging biomarker data for its Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) candidate.

The muscle specialist is focused on developing innovative therapeutics for people living with genetic disorders, using its FORCE platform.

The technology is designed to help create modern oligonucleotide therapeutics which could overcome current limitations in delivery to muscle tissue.
