Californian oncology-focused biotech Avenzo Therapeutics has announced a pair of important updates.
Firstly, the firm revealed that it has entered into an exclusive option agreement with China’s VelaVigo for an exclusive license to develop, manufacture and commercialize a potential first-in-class Nectin4/TROP2 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC). The deal covers the entire world except Greater China.
Nectin4 and TROP2 are highly co-expressed in multiple solid tumor types, including metastatic urothelial cancer.
