Swiss drugmaker Vifor Pharma (VTX: VIF0N) today announced its move further into the vascular calcification arena with the proposed acquisition of not one, but two early-stage drug developers.
Vifor has entered into an agreement to buy Sanifit Therapeutics, a Spanish clinical-stage cardio-renal biopharmaceutical company focused on treatments for end-stage kidney disease patients with progressive vascular calcification disorders.
