Stabilitech says COVID-19 patients could receive vaccine by mail

Patients may one day be able to drop a COVID-19 vaccine in the Amazon basket, if British biotech firm Stabilitech BioPharma has its way.

The firm says it is ready for Phase I testing of a unique oral mode of administration which could potentially be applied to a vaccine for COVID-19.

If approved by regulatory authorities, the innovative mode of administration would “disrupt the vaccine market by producing safe, efficacious, self-administered vaccine capsules,” the firm said.
