LILLY RECALLS ANTIBIOTICS
- Eli Lilly has recalled 2.4 million bottles of its liquid antibiotics Ceclor (cefaclor), Lorabid (loracarbef) and Keflex (cefalexin monohydrate) following the discovery of pieces of plastic in the bottles from the manufacturing process. The company described the move as a "significant recall" and is expecting to record a post-tax charge of $40 million to $50 million.
