Share of US biotech firm Denali Therapeutics (Nasdaq: DNLI) were up 4.48% at $16.80 on Friday, after announcing that it had entered into a strategic option and collaboration agreement with Japan’s Takeda Pharmaceutical (TYO: 4502) to develop and commercialize up to three specified therapeutic product candidates for neurodegenerative diseases.
Each program is directed to a genetically validated target for neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease and other indications, and incorporates Denali’s ATV platform for increased exposure of biotherapeutic products in the brain.
