$100 million vote of confidence in Tunis-founded AI company

2014-founded AI specialist InstaDeep has raised $100 million in a series B funding round, led by Alpha Intelligence Capital, together with CDIB.

The company is looking to become a leader in advanced AI decision-making systems, and plans to use the money to expand its global presence into the USA, among other things.

Principal investors in the round were joined by German immunotherapy firm BioNTech (Nasdaq: BNTX), as well as Chimera Abu Dhabi, DB Digital Ventures, Google, and others.
