One of the largest pharmaceutical production facilities in the Russian North-West region will soon be built in the city of Pushkino by the local drugmaker Active Component enterprise, The Pharma Letter’s local correspondent reports.
The new plant will have the range of up to 40 active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), that will be supplied to different parts of Russia and primarily the North West, according to recent statements made by the Governor of St Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The range of products will be drugs against cancer and for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases along with diabetes.
